Corporate & Foundation Relations Manager
Sara Wilson Meyer joined the American Public Gardens Association (APGA) in May 2022 as the Corporate & Foundation Relations Manager. In this role, she works to build new and existing relationships with corporations and foundations to support APGA’s mission, vision, and goals.
Prior to her time at the Association, Sara served as the Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Fund at The Tatnall School. Sara has more than ten years of nonprofit fundraising experience via development-focused leadership roles at Tatnall, FAME, Inc., and the Latin American Community Center.
She holds the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Immaculata University along with a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) from the Biden School of Public Policy & Administration at the University of Delaware. Sara is very active with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Brandywine Chapter, where she has served as a volunteer Board Member since 2018.
Sara and her husband Joe, live in Wilmington, Delaware with their two Siberian Forest Cats, Boris and Vladimir. They both enjoy nature, traveling, and trying new recipes for friends and family.
