As fewer students choose careers in horticulture, it is imperative for public gardens to raise awareness for the diverse career opportunities available in our industry to inspire the next generation of horticulturists and related professionals. Learn new approaches to career education, including in-depth hands-on opportunities, onsite programs with horticulture staff, and online learning experiences. Join the movement to promote careers in horticulture through the national Seed Your Future campaign. Questions related to accessibility, the perception of horticulture careers, and goals/impact will also be addressed.
