Part of our 2020 Virtual Conference additional resources, this session will offer a perspective on how international partnerships are created, how they can be beneficial for those organizations involved, and issues to consider before making connections. Anthony Allison from Earthcorps, Kate Sorensen from the Bellevue Botanical Garden and Svetlana Sizaykh from the Irkutsk University Botanical Garden in Russia will share about a program focused on the best practices of environmental education and supporting both US and Russian educators. Some of the topics that educators are sharing with children and guests include botany and environmental issues like habitat and plant species preservation and the effect of climate change.
