This publication documents the 81 posters and oral presentations that were made from May 16-19, 2016 in Chicago, IL covering such topics as in situ conservation, ex situ conservation, identifying and assessing ecosystems/species to conserve, restoration of species/ecosystems of conservation concern, and tools and techniques for tree genetic conservation. More importantly, the workshop provided an opportunity for government agencies, botanic gardens and arboreta, and universities to engage in meaningful dialogue on tree genetic conservation.
