Job Description

We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Janitor to join our Operations team. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping our property clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors. If you enjoy working independently, staying active, and taking pride in a job well done, this may be a great fit for you.

This position offers consistent hours, clear expectations, and the opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained and respected facility. This position reports to the Operations Manager.

WORK SCHEDULE: The work schedule is mainly five days a week, including weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities

What You Will Do

Perform daily janitorial and custodial services, including:
Cleaning and restocking restrooms
Emptying trash and recycling containers
Cleaning offices and shared spaces
Monitoring property for litter and cleanliness
Deliver and restock janitorial supplies across the property; track usage to support inventory accuracy
Identify, report, and help address facility issues such as leaks, damaged fixtures, or maintenance concerns
Safely operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, scrubbers, pressure washers, etc.)
Perform minor maintenance on janitorial equipment (changing scrubber pads, vacuum filters, belts, basic cleaning)
Secure all equipment at the end of each shift and report supply or repair needs
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules on time
Assist with special cleaning projects such as carpet cleaning, power washing, and event support
Work both outdoors and indoors in a variety of weather conditions. Uniforms for weather conditions provided.
Collaborate with team members and support Operations projects as needed

Education and Experience

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

At least 1 year of work experience involving physical or manual labor
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, stoop, walk long distances, and remain active throughout a shift
Comfortable working weekends and flexible hours, if needed
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Professional communication skills and positive attitude

Preferred (Not Required)

1–3 years of janitorial, custodial, or facilities experience
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, supplies, and safe chemical use
Bilingual in English and Spanish

Additional Requirements

Must pass pre-employment requirements, including background check, drug test, and physical exam
