Filoli welcomes Brendan Dellerba as the new Director of Horticulture and Conservation, joining the organization in May 2025. Brendan brings over 12 years of diverse experience in horticulture across the hospitality, retail, wholesale, and landscape industries.
In his role, Brendan will oversee horticultural activities across Filoli’s historic estate, as well as lead conservation efforts in the newly expanded natural lands and redwoods area. His background includes leadership roles such as General Manager at Sweet Lane Nursery, Director of Horticulture and Floral at Resorts World Las Vegas, and founder of his own landscaping business, Ecoyardscapes.
Brendan is passionate about continuing the tradition of Filoli’s world-class formal gardens while enhancing engagement with the natural lands. He looks forward to expanding horticultural programming and making the beauty of horticulture more accessible to all visitors.
