Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
Turn your idea of a museum inside out! The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is 85% outdoors, exclusively focusing on the Sonoran Desert region. This fusion experience is more than a museum – we’re a zoo (accredited with the AZA), an aquarium, botanical gardens, natural history museum, and art institute and gallery.
Tohono Chul
Tohono Chul’s vision is to be recognized internationally as the premier center for understanding and appreciation of the Sonoran Desert region through its fusion of nature, art, and culture. Tohono Chul, named one of the World’s Great Botanical Gardens by Travel + Leisure Magazine, seeks to be an indispensable resource for helping people learn about, celebrate, and conserve our region’s natural and cultural heritage, and to be a model institution for other unique regions around the world. Every element of Tohono Chul will reflect excellence and beauty, creating a pleasurable, inspiring, and enlightening experience for all.
