Department of Labor Updated Overtime Protections
Beginning January 1, 2025, a new rule from the U.S. Department of Labor will make more employees eligible for overtime pay by quickly increasing the minimum salary threshold for eligibility. This change has the potential to greatly affect nonprofits’ budgets and we don’t have much time to prepare.
Our partners at BHS will lead a discussion on interpreting the new rules as we prepare the move into 2025.
