Removing Barriers to Access: What are the Next Steps?
Survey results from earlier this year, as well as conversations between colleagues have confirmed that broadening accessibility to our education programs is a top priority for many of us. To create space for all people to fully engage with our programs, a broad range of approaches are required to remove barriers. We are offering this Town Hall discussion as an opportunity to learn what our gardens are currently doing to remove barriers to access, and what you would like to learn more about to further broaden the reach of your efforts.
This Town Hall style discussion will start with a short presentation from leaders of the IDEA Community, followed by smaller group discussion before sharing with the larger group.
Presented by the Education Community
Cost: Free for members (Non-members cannot attend and must join as a member in order to do so).
This event will NOT be recorded. All virtual events are hosted via Zoom and will have closed captioning available. If you have questions about the event’s accessibility, please reach out to info@publicgardens.org.
