Durango, CO, August 12, 2025:  The Durango Botanic Gardens (DBG) located in Durango, Colorado, around the Durango Public Library, will mark 15 years of growth and service to the community, with a member appreciation event on Saturday, September 27, 2025.  The Gardens will host a 15th anniversary and member appreciation event from 11:00 to 1:30 pm, with food, music, door prizes, art, and vendor displays.

“Our membership has grown exponentially over the past few years,” remarks Bill LeMaire, DBG President, “which, in turn, has enabled us to expand the gardens and our educational offerings,”  LeMaire adds the event will focus on thanking its nearly 500 members and 100 volunteers for making its growth possible.

The Durango Botanic Gardens is an entirely volunteer nonprofit producing public gardens in Durango, CO.  The Gardens occupy nearly two acres primarily around the Durango Public Library.  DBG will soon inaugurate a new garden, the Community Venue Garden, which will offer, in addition to several botanically themed gardens, a steel pergola stage equipped to host a variety of both public and private events.
