Wilmington, DE – January 2, 2025 – The Delaware Center for Horticulture (DCH), a local non-profit organization dedicated to improving the community through the power of plants, announced the hiring of Brian Kelley as Director of Advancement. Brian is a seasoned development professional bringing expertise from his employment at Malvern Preparatory School, Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, and the Independence Seaport Museum. In his role, Brian will oversee the strategy and development of DCH fundraising activities.

“The breadth of non-profit fundraising experience Brian brings to DCH will help us grow our contributed revenue goals. As a member of our leadership team, he will help shape our advancement activities through meaningful engagement with donors, stakeholders, and the broader community,” said Joanne McGeoch, Executive Director.

Brian is intent on building a culture of philanthropy through effective stewardship and engagement. His areas of focus include individual giving through the annual fund campaign, major gifts, and corporate giving, with oversight of grants, membership, and events. Brian will also support the Executive Director, Board of Directors, the Advancement Committee, fellow team members, and staff to achieve DCH’s goals.
