Columbus, GA – January 27, 2026 – The Board of Directors of the Columbus Botanical Garden is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Ruhs as the Garden’s next Executive Director, effective February 1, 2026. Andrew has been the Garden’s Interim Executive Director since January 2025, after the resignation of Adriana Quinones.
Prior to becoming the Interim Executive Director, Andrew served as the Garden’s President of the Board. He also brings a wealth of experience in business management and finance. Andrew’s deep commitment to the Garden’s success has been evident over the past year, which has been one of significant growth and improvement for the Garden as it reached record numbers in visitors, community outreach, and fundraising.
About the Garden, Andrew stated, “The opportunities to continue to grow the Garden into a treasured community asset are endless. I am honored to be part of a great team of staff, board members, and volunteers who are committed to sustaining this cultural jewel and excited to see it transform as we move forward.”
