This fall, the Assiniboine Park Conservancy unveiled the plans for Canada’s Diversity Gardens, the final major phase of the $200 million redevelopment of Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The new iconic horticultural attraction will be a celebration of our world’s cultural and biodiversity. Throughout the four cornerstones – The Leaf, The Indigenous Peoples’ Garden, The Cultural Mosaic Gardens and The Grove – an exploration of the human connection with plants and nature will showcase our nation’s extraordinary multicultural heritage.
