Associate Director of Membership & Development in 2024. In this role, she leads initiatives that drive the Association’s strategic objectives for membership and fundraising, fostering relationships with supporters and strengthening the membership base. Katie is responsible for expanding and diversifying the Association’s membership, overseeing customer care, and managing the member database.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Katie holds a B.A. in Communications and Theatre from Hiram College and an M.A. in Nonprofit Management from Cleveland State University. She brings over 15 years of fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector, with recent roles in the development teams at Holden Forests & Gardens and Delaware Nature Society. A plant and tree enthusiast, Katie resides in Wilmington, Delaware, with her husband, Mike, and their three miniature schnauzers, CeCe, Teddy, and Lucy.
