The Ogden Botanical Gardens is celebrating 30 years of service to the community, promoting inner-city beauty, and providing educational opportunities in a sustainable garden setting. Since 1994, their 11-acre space along the Ogden River in Ogden, Utah, has become a resource for gardeners and a place for visitors to learn about plant selection, cultural practices, and environmentally sound methods.
The Gardens offer a variety of themed areas, including Vic Robite Rose Garden, oriental, cottage, water-wise, edible, pollinator, and accessible gardens. Visitors also enjoy their arboretum and other amenities designed for education and enjoyment.
This year, they want to recognize the exceptional dedication of their volunteers, who contributed over 5,000 hours to support their mission. Their hard work has been essential in maintaining the beauty and accessibility of the Gardens.
They want to thank everyone who has been part of their journey, and they look forward to continuing to serve their community and providing a space for learning, relaxation, and inspiration.
